Green Girls' Party Dresses: Emerald, Mint, Teal

Green opens up an easy space for parents who want to step outside the usual colours. This collection has three quite different shades: deep, saturated emerald, pastel mint and teal green with a grey cast. The models are made in satin and organza and sewn to the child's measurements once the order is placed.

When the shade of green changes, the character of the dress changes completely. Emerald is a cool green close to blue, so it sits comfortably on both fair and dark skin; mint is such a pale pastel that on very fair skin it can stay at the same brightness as the skin and blur the face. Teal green, thanks to the grey in it, looks calm and reads as balanced on dark-haired children.

In this collection the season makes the choice of shade easier. Mint is an airy option for spring and summer occasions and for daytime civil ceremonies and graduations; emerald and teal sit better at autumn and winter events and in evening halls. The light weave of organza comes into its own in warm weather, and the fullness of satin on cooler days.

The main thing to watch with green is the background. In photographs taken in a garden or in front of greenery, pale greens can fall into the same tone as the grass and leaves and let the dress fade; in places like that a saturated shade such as emerald reads more clearly. In an indoor hall with dark curtains, mint does the opposite and brings the child forward.

FAQ

Is a green dress too bold for a child?

What decides that feeling is the shade itself; mint and teal stay calm, while emerald leaves a bolder impression. If you tell us about the mood of the occasion, we can work out together on WhatsApp which shade suits the setting.

Which is more comfortable, satin or organza?

Satin is heavier and drapes more, while organza is lighter and holds more volume; for a child who will be moving about for a long time, the lightness of organza is usually easier. You are welcome to come by the atelier in Pendik on weekdays between 10:00 and 19:00 and feel both fabrics yourself, and you only need to let us know on WhatsApp before you come.
