Girls' Party Dresses, Sewn in Our Pendik Atelier

Cigdem Moda Evi is a small sewing atelier in Pendik. Party dresses for girls aged 3-12 are sewn here, to each child's own measurements. On this page we explain where the atelier is, how things work if you would like to visit, and how the process runs for those writing to us from outside Istanbul.

Where the atelier is and when it is open

Our address is Fevzi Cakmak Mah. Taksim Sokagi 6 B, Pendik / Istanbul. We are at the atelier on weekdays between 10:00 and 19:00.

This is not a shop; it is a working sewing atelier. If you are thinking of dropping by, write to us on WhatsApp first and we will tell you how busy the atelier is that day, so you do not make the trip for nothing.

If you would like to visit the atelier

When you write before coming, we agree on a suitable day and time together. If you have a design in mind, sending a photograph in advance lets us prepare before you arrive.

At the atelier you can feel the fabric for yourself and have the child measured on the spot. The same goes for anyone wanting to collect a finished dress in person: let us know before you come and we will have it ready.

Getting here from the Anatolian side

The atelier is in Pendik, a reasonable distance from neighbouring districts such as Kurtkoy, Tuzla, Kartal, Sultanbeyli and Sancaktepe. If you are coming from further away, write first so you do not waste the day.

If you cannot come, that is no problem either. The whole process can run over WhatsApp; we settle the design, the measurements and the delivery in writing.

If you are in another city in Turkey, we proceed the same way. When the dress is ready, we send it by courier.

Sizes, timing and delivery

Our designs are sewn in five sizes: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 yrs. Once the size is decided, we finalise the measurements with your approval.

Since every dress is sewn to order, preparation takes 7-14 days. If there is a fixed date such as a wedding, a graduation or a holiday, allow for that time and write to us early; rushed sewing does not turn out well.

Common questions

Do I need to let you know before coming to the atelier?

It is not required, but we strongly recommend it. The atelier is a working sewing room; if you write to 0535 402 16 63 before coming, we will agree on a suitable time for that day.

Can I have the measurements taken at the atelier?

If you are in Istanbul, yes. Arrange a suitable day, come in, and we will take the measurements together. If you cannot come, you can take them at home and send them over WhatsApp; we explain step by step how to do that on the Measuring Guide page.

When will the dress be ready?

Since every dress is sewn to order, preparation takes 7-14 days. If it has to be ready for a particular day, tell us at the outset and we will plan the schedule around it.

What do you do if there is a problem with the sewing?

Write to us on WhatsApp as soon as you notice, and send a photograph if you can. If the problem is caused by our sewing, we correct it free of charge; if you are in Istanbul, you can bring the dress to the atelier and we can look at it together.
