Once you have chosen a style, we take current measurements over WhatsApp and cut the pattern from those.

Height and arm length can change within a few months at this stage, so rather than relying on an old measurement it is safer to measure again while we are discussing the dress. A height measurement taken with the child standing on a flat floor without shoes lets us set the skirt length correctly. If you are not sure how to take the measurements, we talk you through it step by step on WhatsApp.
The proportions of the body also start to shift; chest, waist and hip measurements now move independently of one another. On fitted-bodice styles that sit at the waist, taking all three separately keeps the dress from gaping at the back or pulling across the chest. A soft lining and flat inner seams also make a difference in a dress that is worn for hours.

When should I take the measurements?
Measurements taken around the days we start discussing the dress are the most accurate, because height can change quickly at this age. You send them over WhatsApp, and if needed we check with a photo where exactly the measurement was taken.
My daughter does not want a sleeveless dress, do we have options?
Cape sleeves and cuts that cover the shoulder are a comfortable answer at this age. Tell us which style you like and we will discuss what can be changed on its upper part and decide together.
