Custom Design & Tailoring: For designs created especially for you, the price is determined by the fabric, guipure, lace, stones, trims, workmanship and design details involved. Prices for custom designs differ from those of our collection designs. How does custom design work?

The volume of a princess skirt comes from its layers of fabric. In the Pink Tulle Princess Dress, the fullness comes from tiers of tulle opening out from the waist; in the Yellow Organza Princess Dress, from organza layers with wavy edges; and in the Pink Satin and Tulle Ball Gown with Jewelled Bow, from tulle laid over a satin lining. The more layers there are, the fuller the skirt looks, but it also gets a little heavier; this balance needs to be struck according to the child's age and the length of the day.
For younger girls, a skirt with fewer layers that falls below the knee or just above the ankle makes it easier for the child to run and play. For older girls, a longer ball-gown skirt that comes close to the ankle, such as the Lilac and Peach Layered Tulle Princess Dress, looks elegant at a wedding or on the graduation stage. We recommend measuring the skirt length together with the shoes she'll wear at the ceremony.
A full skirt can easily get crushed in the car and on a chair, so when setting off it's a good idea to choose a coat, or a cape open at the front, that won't crush the skirt. Tulle layers regain their volume when left to rest on a hanger for a while; we've gathered our storage and ironing tips in our care guide. Once the design and measurements are confirmed, preparation usually takes 7-14 days.
FAQ
Will a full skirt make my child uncomfortable?
The fullness comes from layers of tulle or organza; the more layers there are, the fuller the skirt, but it also gets a little heavier. For younger girls, a skirt with fewer layers that falls below the knee makes it easier for the child to run and play all day. We talk through your preferences on WhatsApp before you order and finalise the design together.
What colours do the princess designs come in?
The designs in this collection come in shades of pink, lilac, peach and yellow. If you're looking for a dress in white, cream or ecru, take a look at our White, Cream and Ecru collection, or message us on WhatsApp with the colour you have in mind.
